Refund Policy
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, so you can try Slidemaker properly before you pay. Because of that, payments are non-refundable — but you can cancel anytime.
The free trial
Monthly and yearly subscriptions both start with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time before it ends — from Settings → Billing → Manage billing — and you won't be charged at all. If you don't cancel, your first billing period is charged when the trial ends.
Payments are non-refundable
- Subscriptions. Monthly and yearly payments, including renewals, are non-refundable, and we don't give partial refunds for unused time.
- Credit add-ons. Add-on purchases are non-refundable.
Cancelling
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep full access and your remaining credits until the end of the period you've already paid for. Your decks and references stay in your account until you delete it.
Exceptions
If something went wrong on our side — a duplicate charge, a billing error, or a problem that kept you from using Slidemaker — email support@slidemaker.io from the address you signed up with, including the date of the charge. We reply within 2 business days and may issue a refund at our discretion. Approved refunds are issued by our payment provider, Polar, to your original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days.
A refunded payment ends what it paid for: the refunded subscription period loses access and its remaining credits, and refunded add-on credits are removed from your balance.
